Denny Rehberg is a fifth generation Montana rancher and small business owner who is serving his sixth term as Montana’s Congressman. Having spent a majority of his life working on the family ranch, Denny has firsthand experience with many of the problems facing agriculture producers and small business owners in Montana.

In 2000, Denny was elected to the United States House of Representatives. One of the first measures Denny sponsored was a Balanced Budget Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. Denny has long fought for spending reform in Washington and supports banning earmarks. Denny serves on the powerful House Appropriations Committee, and was recently appointed Chairman of the Subcommittee on Labor, Health and Human Services, Education and Related Agencies, which oversees over one quarter of federal discretionary spending.
